Little Things
There’s nothing worse than a toilet roll dispenser that’s in the wrong place. It could be:
- too far away
- in an awkward position
- on the wrong side
It needs to be right if you’re going to live with it! The ideal position is on the right-hand side, slightly forward of the bowl, just above knee height.
Don’t ever put blinds or curtains over French doors—it makes it a hassle getting in or out at night.
I really like the two-tone wood effect used on that ceiling outside.
The stone and wood, and the way this place fits so nicely with the surrounding countryside makes it look perfect for a relaxing weekend. (via Modern Residential Design)
